MOCK INTERVIEW TO PREPARE FOR JOB INTERVIEWS
There are three ways TO DO A MOCK INTERVIEW
The first way is new from Google
A computer gives me a warmup interview. The computer asks me questions, transcribes my answers and then gives me insight on my answers. Go to https://grow.google/certificates/interview-warmup/ and practice answering some questions.
The second way is to practice with a friend
Your friend role plays someone who needs to fill a job opening. You do not role play. You are your honest self.
YOU CAN GIVE THIS INFORMATION TO YOUR FRIEND GIVING YOU A MOCK INTERVIEW
- The field I want to be in (the type of business, industry or ministry I’m targeting).
- The occupation I want in that field: .
- The company or ministry within that field I’m targeting.
- The title of the person who would have the authority to hire me.
Your friend can then role play being an interviewer for the position you describe above. You could send your friend these Interview Questions. Your friend could give you the interview on Zoom. FaceTime or Skype. Get the free Zoom app at Zoom.us.
The THIRD way
Ask worknlearninc@gmail.com if there is an experienced recruiter who will use my resume and volunteer to give me a mock interview and make suggestions on my resume and job objective. Provide your resume to make this possible.
Also see Public Speaking, because those skills have a lot in common with interviewing skills.
