- Biblical Values
- Guidelines for Disciples of Jesus Christ
- How do people become Christians?
- Career Skills
- Defining and aligning your goals, strengths, interests, and motivators
- Being a continuous learner and applying what you learn
You will experience during the small group discussion:
- Introduce yourself and meet fellow classmates. Share why you are taking the class.
- Share your initial thoughts on your goals, strengths, interests, and motivators (Exercise 1.1), one accomplishment that you feel really good about (Exercise 1.2), and how you will incorporate the Biblical Values introduced in this class.
- Ask others for and receive feedback and suggestions.
You will take away from Class #1:
- A better understanding of what it means to be a Christian and to apply God’s Word in your personal life, work and career plan.
- An initial summary of your goals, strengths, interests, and motivators (Exercise 1.1).
- An initial outline of one of your accomplishments (Exercise 1.2).
- An understanding of mentor and coach resources available to you.
