Help your church increase its membership. Go to ministries and service agencies and find a needy person in the community it serves. Become acquainted. Learn some of the person’s needs, skills and gifts. Would he or she like to join a program of values and skills for personal and career success?
Find a needy person
See “the least of these”
Describe the Change-Your-Life Ministry, its classes, discussions, friends, mentors, coaches, etc.
See if another church member might like to be a Friend, Mentor or Coach.
Introduce the possible participant and the other church member.
Show each of them the website worknlearn.us.
Encourage them to enroll together in the virtual Change-Your-Life classes on Zoom.
Consider joining with them and being part of their weekly small group breakout session to discuss how they will put the value and the skill into practice.
Keep in touch as they learn Biblical Values and Career Skills to transform their lives.
The friend, mentor or coach verifies that the participant is doing the assignments and completing the exercises.
See Your Personal Commitment & Responsibilities
Ask your church to pray for its small group (the participant and friend, mentor or coach).
At the right time, invite the participant to your church, or suggest some other church.
If needed, help the needy person find employment.
